Use Proxy via Authenticated Account

In this guide, you will find all the basic information required to authenticate with an account and use IPxSS Rotating Residential Proxies.

Register an account and purchase a plan

Visit the IPxSS website. First create an account, then after signing in go to Proxy → Rotating Residential Proxy → Pricing, choose any plan quantity you need, and complete the purchase.

Proxy user settings

Create a user

In the user dashboard, click My Products → Rotating Residential Proxy → Users → Create Proxy User to enter the proxy user creation page.

Set the proxy username, password, status (enabled or disabled), and traffic usage limit (the maximum traffic available to the created proxy user).

Manage users

① You can search for a specific proxy user by username and user status;

② Click Edit to modify the proxy user’s username, password, enabled/disabled status, and traffic usage limit;

③ Click Remark to add notes to proxy users for easier identification.

Get proxies

Click My Products → Rotating Residential Proxy → Endpoint Generator to enter the proxy information generation page:

① Set Authentication Method to User, then choose the proxy user you want to use from the username dropdown.

② Select Proxy Region / Carrier according to the region you need.

③ Proxy Address: we provide a dedicated proxy domain and automatically match the most suitable domain based on the proxy region you choose.

④ Select the output format you need and specify the proxy gateway protocol.

⑤ Select the session type you need:

Rotating session switches IPs automatically on every request and is ideal for business scenarios that require high anonymity;

Sticky session supports a session retention duration from 1 to 120 minutes and is suitable for scenarios that require session continuity;

After enabling Manual IP Change, you can switch IPs once per request. If the switch fails, disconnect the proxy and try again.

⑥ In the Test Command output area, you can get the test command generated from the current proxy settings to test the proxy.

⑦ In the Endpoint Output List, you can choose the number of endpoints (up to 1000) and the output format. hostname is the domain, port is the port, username is the proxy user account, and password is the proxy user password. Endpoint information can be copied or exported as TXT.

Usage statistics

You can view Rotating Residential Proxy usage statistics by visiting the IPxSS dashboard. On the Statistics page, you will find detailed information about traffic usage, remaining traffic, and sub-account traffic consumption. The dashboard is shown below:

Location settings

The IPxSS proxy network can target IPs by filtering by country. If the country parameter is selected, IPs will be allocated from the specified country IP pool. For specific configuration instructions, see Location Settings

Example

USERNAME-zone-res-region-us-session-123keh4ra-sessTime-5:PASSWORD:gateway.ipxss.com:7777

Making requests

You can quickly start using IPxSS proxy services by sending a request with your authenticated account credentials directly through the proxy endpoint to https://ipinfo.ipxss.com. For detailed request methods, see Making Requests

Example

curl -x gateway.ipxss.com:7777 -U "USERNAME-zone-res:PASSWORD" ipinfo.ipxss.com
