How Do IPv6 Proxies Work?

Proxies transmit data through IPv6 addresses, avoiding the limitations of IPv4 and providing a more stable and efficient network experience.

The workflow is as follows:

  1. Your device (usually still operating on an IPv4 network) sends a request to the IPv6 proxy server.
  2. The proxy server receives your request and then forwards it to the target website through its own IPv6 address.
  3. The target website sees the proxy server's IPv6 address, communicates with it, and returns the data to the proxy server.
  4. The proxy server then sends the data retrieved from the website back to your device.

During this process, the target website records the proxy server's IPv6 address, thereby hiding your real IP address.
